Version of Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder (with a lower key?)
Consider this:
CD version/MTV version
YouTube - Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder: Closed Captioned
YouTube - Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO
as against this: (performed during American Idol and Music Station Japan)
YouTube - American Idol - Maroon 5 - "Makes Me Wonder"
YouTube - Maroon 5 on Music Japan
YouTube - Maroon5@Japanese TV show
Strangely, I liked the latter one even more (as it doesn't seem to be high a note).
For any musicians here, is there a specific term that you call to this?
Also, is it possible to do this (changing to a lower note?) using Ableton Live 6?
----------------
Thanks (any comments, insights and whatnot are welcome)

if I had to take a stab at answering, I'd say when they wrote the song, they wrote it in the lower key
but when their producer got a hold of it (for the album), he thought it'd sound better on a higher key signature

It may be easier to sing in a different key
Its easy to change keys in ableton live 6. Pitch is what you'd have to move.
