Or, is that just the fanboy in me talking?
Despite pandering to the lowest common denominator, the first Tomb Raider flick was decent fun.
in before Uwe Boll sucks post.

Good: Mortal Kombat 1 & 2, Tomb Raider (yeah really, it wasn't bad), Pokemon The First Movie (the only one that wasn't retarded), Samurai Showdown (anime), Resident Evil, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within (although it only has this title for marketing, it has nothing to do with Final Fantasy)
Bad: Super Mario Bros., Double Dragon, Tomb Raider 2
Worst: Wing Commander (I couldn't even get past 40 minutes of this shit)
Granted I haven't seen every movie ever made based on a video game, so I can't tell you exactly how bad Bloodrayne is.

I was actually thinking the other day about whether there would be a Metal Gear Solid movie. I would be all for the idea, however the game is pretty much a movie anyway. But if they did do it, the screenplay must be written by Hideo Kojima and/or David Hayter, and the soundtrack has to be from Harry Gregson-Williams, oherwise it will be crap. | |

Other than the Mortal Kombats, I can't think of anything else that wasn't utter failure.

also while it wasn't a "good" movie i enjoyed super mario bros.

If the game were that damn good I'd never play anything else, but I haven't touched that game in like 8 years or so lol. As far as PS1 RPG's go, Wild Arms and Suikoden 2 were better.
