ATTN, Chicago Pump players

Kahru (BanYa4eVr) asked me to do a little favor to her. Let's hope this thread is useful for the cause.

There's an arcade called Dave & Buster's (Addison) which has a Zero machine. She has tried to propose the admins of the place to update their Pump, with a NX (if NX2 and/or new cabinet, better). So far there hasn't been a lot of response.

Chances for D&B to change a version may increase if more people do suggest the place to do so, so they realize the upgrade is necessary.

Any chance for people from zones near that D&B to support the cause? Or any suggestion or information that could be useful?

My skills are leaving me quite quickly, so I hope something or anything can be done.

All other locations I know of that may get NX or NX2 eventually are too far for me to commute just to play.

This D&Bs is a 10 to 15 minute drive for me.

I just hope I can still play well when it counts.

Yeah, but it was only for that occasion.

Plus the D&Bs in Addison is the closest arcade to me with a Pump machine.
I really don't like driving into the city with all that one way street hell X3

Plus it takes a good hour to get there.
Unless I'm going for lunch, dinner, or some occasion, I'm not driving into Chicago just to play Pump.

same here, I live in Saint Charles, and I have not found any other Pump it Up machine by my house, besides Dave and Buster's. It would be nice if they got an upgrade. I have been there in forever, maybe I will go this weekend, Last time I went there they had an Exceed. Never knew they had a Zero.

Methinks you should talk to Chicago people either through pumphaven, pumpcore, or kimodanceteam.com since there's quite a few who don't post here that much (Wolfen, MissionPossible83, YeehawMcKickAss, kpopgrrl, etc.)

here in rockford we have an exceed on a dx D:

dekalb has a fantastic exceed two on the itg like cabs

sandwich has a broken nx

Your only hope lies on the fact that the US main Supporter MP83 lives in Chicago... I'm sure he and the guys will find a way to get some form of NX2 in the city

He needs to if he's going to be able to run any tournaments!

I live in Schaumburg, and I go to D&B every once in a while. I know some people there that might be able to help, I'll see what I can do.

...Shit, I haven't been there in quite a while. I think I'm gonna go sometime this week.

Err... I mean that I had seen BANYA4evr's conversation on PH, and that my previous post was referring to your post. :| Sorry about the ambiguity.

Anyway, kimodanceteam.com or PH is really where you'll see anybody from Chicago. They are in a better state to help than anybody else. I hope you guys get some PIU moving, since I like the PIU community there
