Romeoville has been NXA for almost a month now. There were location announcements about it in the appropriate threads here, ddrfreak, and pump haven.

No one is there when I go, most my friends lost interest, I lost my Gold card, and since getting to Lewis is too damn hard...yeah. Plus I really just play to enjoy the music, not much for difficulty of the charts.

KIMO presents Touhou Mathematics, motherfucker!
To celebrate one of the first NXA locations in the USA, I'm holding an early March speed/freestyle tournament.

I like to throw some twists into my tournents so here goes:
ONE DOLLAR to get in both tournaments.
Speed: Seeding round, a Brain Shower mathematics song to be decided day of (this is touhou mathematics afterall).
Single elim brackets: As much as I like the speed of the old school four round cut style, people have asked for a bracket tournament, and this is the time to do it. I will err on the side of speed, however, and make all rounds SINGLE song except for finals (two of three). Crazy through quarterfinals, Remix CZ for semi finals, and Nighmare for finals. Top seed picks song or side.
Freestyle: One song each, all routines recorded for YouTube.
Prizes: Winner take all on speed, bragging rights on freestyle, AND THE RETURN OF THE MYSTERY BOX (which can run the gamut of shit I have laying around, to stuff I go buy, to even stuff I make).

The university is on spring break during this, so we not only have the machines on free play, we have the whole union to ourselves. This means we can start the tournament WHENEVER people want that day. I'm leaning towards 5pm-ish unless a bunch of other people say otherwise.
