Does Pump it Up have keysound?

We don't have PUI here and I just wanted to know, does it have keysound or does the whole song play in the background?

It's just fanmade BMS, it only plays the BG Music but does not have real keysounds.

i can confirm that PIU charts never had keysounds because i've already watched some PIU plays and the music never goes off-sync because of off-timed steps.

I didn't mean the game is lame, but the fact that they put whole songs and not keysound like almost all other rhythm games is lame...

This is how I've always seen it: Keysound = professional = good , BGM = fanmade = bad.
That's why I was surprised to here that a game with this incredible music quality can be without keysound.

Other than that the game is awesome and has a lot of awesome songs.

The dance floor is almost never a musical instrument, so why would it be one in a dancing simulation game?

PIU, DDR, and ITG never had keysounds for a very specific reason.

Ok, all good points, didn't think of it that way, guess I was talking more about IIDX or Ez2dj type games, not dance.

So if you mess up, the song sounds like crap? Usually the song leads to bad dancing, not the other way around.

The only time a Keysounded dance game was attempted was pop'n stage. And it apparently sucked pretty hard.
