Marketplace Rating: 1 | A place in Miami got one by some miracle. I'm not sure how.
I only played a handful of songs, but here's a small breakdown:
Pros(pun not intended):
-The NX2 Pro songs are much, much harder in Pro (Dance All Night NM is more like a 14/15 as opposed to an 11, and Energizer is death incarnate)
-The interface is beautiful, aside from the clinical list format; cool background imaging, nice trance BGM.
-Easily selectable mods
-The new songs are much, much higher quality than ITG2's(most of which I thought were garbage)
-There are a lot of them. I think there's at least 40 brand new songs(including ITG/2 crossovers), each of which have every single mode of play(take notes, Andamiro).
-Random obscure old song revival! (Emperor! ...Everybody?)
-Customized banners for the Pump songs(some of which had an interesting bit of creativity put into their creation)
-The new background movies are far from generic blandness; I liked some of them. Incognito shows someone who I'm almost positive is K. Ward going around town in a hat with ITG/DDR arrows on it, and Summer shows some nice live action footage of a beach, for random examples.
(Stop & Go = Traffic)
Cons:
-Vivid coloring by default. (Ech; but it can be changed to classic in the mod menu)
-The speed mods follow ITG/DDR standards.
Put on 3x, and it'll almost be twice as fast as it would be in Pump proper.
-All the original double(namely the NM) charts are awkward. Not impossible, but awkward. Oasis has a S5 freeze that goes on for about 20 seconds with E7C1 hand plants going on during it.
It goes with the song, it's fun, but weird.
It's pretty much ITG with five arrows and a lot of Pump tracks thrown into the mix.
It's fun to experiment with, and a definite change from the norm, but I'd never take it over the real deal.

In the other end of the GTA, there is apparently NX machine (FX) in Canada's Wonderland and a Zero machine (DX) at Dave & Busters Vaughn Mills.

Is Dave & Busters attached to the mall or near Vaughn Mills?

Marketplace Rating: 0 | yeah....but you guys dont live in Montreal , where we are limited to DDR Extreme ¬_¬...
But i just want to say , that the way that i got to know pump it up was totally random...My friend wanted for her birthday DDR.....it wasnt availible anymore so she randomly picked PIU Exceed....Than we started playing PIU , and i went , well thats....AWESOME !!
So if it wasnt for that random pick at the store , i would have never knew anything about PIU. I think PIU only needs more maketing/publicity. DDR has tones of publicity (even though some people dont think so)....such as in movies and TV shows. Have you watched a ''todays sitcom'' without a DDR joke ?
So PIU could get many more fans....by the ''randomly pick at the store game'' way , or the ''i heard about the awesomeness of this game'' way....
PIU for the future , will have a larger community

So there.

I really don't know so much about the PRO, but i have the executable and i believe i'm bolded below the probable support to MK6 I/O. Quote: |

Marketplace Rating: 0 | I first started playing Pump back when Zero was the newest mix, and I liked it then. Honestly I prefer Pro though, mostly because I like my music games to have timing windows. I'll still play Zero and NX when I get the chance, it just doesn't really feel like that big a deal when I S or FPC things on the game, as opposed to any other dance game where a 100% or AAA are kind of significant. I guess that's why I never really bar in classic pump, because accuracy doesn't really matter. It makes it a bit more entertaining, but I guess I already stated my preference so yeah.
I wish Colorado would get NX2 though. Also I would pretty much kill if it meant Colorado could have a tournament scene for any game that's actually competitively relevant as opposed to just DDR extreme (or stepmania skinned to act the exact same way as DDR extreme with the exact same types of stepcharts).
I don't know what the future of Pump it Up will look like, mostly I'm just sad about the loss of WPF and the decline of the dance game community on the whole. I hope there is a future
