ok. I'm still in discussions with the manager over the logistics, but he's interested as long as there's interest, so I'm going to go ahead and post this around.
G2k Games is a Hobby Shop in my Area that mainly does TCG tournaments, with infrequent video game tournaments as well. There is definitely the possibility of SSB if people have cubes/wiis.

They are very lenient on food and drinks in the store. just dont get it on the machine. We got pizza there a few weeks ago.
Housing, there are several hotels less than a mile away, and I can house as many as I can fit on my floor honestly.

*As of now, the machine is an NX GX, but it may be upgrade to NX:Absolute in the near future
Information:
-Date: April 11, 2009
-$10 Entry Fee
-Prizes will be 60%/25%/15% drawn from the pot
-5(# will go up if there are enough entrants) Random Door Prizes

-Double Elimination
-Bar Allowed
-Matches will be Best of 3. All songs leading up to semi-finals and finals will be Arcade Station/Another Charts. All songs chosen in Semi-Finals and Finals will be either Remixes of Full Versions
-Higher seed picks first song, lower seed picks second.
-Players get to decide who gets which pad themselves, if there's argument over pads, I'll flip a coin.
-Third Song(when necessary) will be Random from Arcade Station.
-Seeding will be based on a qualifier chosen by random(will not be any song with skulls) on tournament day.
-We will run as high of a bracket as necessary for everyone who enters to play.
-Scoring by Machine Score.
-No Dukamoking (i.e. stepping on opponent's panels during a match)
-Everyone should walk away with some prize(door prizes for everyone who does not place)
-Pad errors will be changed to Perfect, and will be determined on a case to case basis**

**I have never had a problem with the pads, but just in case, there will be 3 cameras set up, recording every match of the tournament. One on P1’s feet, one on P2’s feet, and one on the screen. These will be consulted if there is any controversial/non-blatant pad error.
