Official rules for local Pump It Up tourneys

Yup, finally, Andamiro has uploaded the rules for this year's WPF, and updated them greatly.

The biggest new stuff is that new Funstyle category. Oh, and for some reason it seems Female Speed doesn't exist anymore.

^^U I can imagine now the male and female speeders must play in the same category. No more gender division.

Of course, take my words with a grain of salt. I'm not even sure about it. The document is kind of ambiguous.

Exactly. This is a lie. AM has NOT released ANY info to supporters, or anyone else in the REAL KNOW (nice try Kyo) about WPF. The ONLY thing that has been announced about WPF this year was months ago when they said there would NOT be one. You say female speed doesn't exist anymore? Then why does the PDF say females can use bar? Why would they use the bar if they're not even competing?

And the info for WPF 2007 is still up on the site. This is a FARCE guys. Don't believe it until AM makes it front page news. If they do at all.

What gets me, though, is that that PDF is through piugame.com. Either that file isn't supposed to be accessible, there was a leak, Andamiro's being careless, or that's an early transcript.

Because if it were THAT fake, it wouldn't be linked through piugame.com.

I said I wasn't sure about it. Found this at a MX Pump community (they posted the spanish document ) and since the file is hosted at PIUGame, I inmediately thought it was the real deal. First I had my doubts about it, but I simply changed the "SP" thing for "EN" in the filename, and whoaa, that thing appeared.

But whatever. If it isn't legit, well, too bad, I made a mistake, nothing happened, everyone happy

Only thing I can think of is this: AM had thought of rules early early this year. Before they came out with the "there's no WPF08" ordeal. Because thinking about it now, I remember hearing something about the team speed thing, etc. So AM being lazy again, they left it up on PIUgame.

Those rules are the general club rules for running local tournaments.

There is no relation to a World Pump Fest through that document.

There is no current official plan for WPF 2k8. It is currently in the works for there to be an international tournament for PIU, but it will not include all countries with clubs.

Again, this is not a WPF related document.

The Korean Pump Fest is going to be in December, so i would be surprised if an international competition actually happened in 2008.
