It's not that simple at all. They're clearly trying to leave a large enough difference between the song lists of NX2 and NXA to where arcades with NX2 will still make money and not be obsoleted by NXA. That as well as the fact that they are saving money on renewing licenses (or not able to renew some at all in the first place). The massive amount of dropped licenses is due to money. As for shit like Beethoven Virus, they don't pay a penny to use it. It's a fan favorite and costs them nothing. Songs like this will continue to bring people to the arcade no matter how old they are. Therefore, it's worth it to keep old ass songs like that in the game for good.

Yeah, I know. My fan side can't let me see that, unfortunately

Except for the old songs thing. Damn, remove those already. Not like people (even casuals) care about Beethoven Virus anymore.

Oh I agree, but instead of saving money by dropping an ungodly amount of liscenses they could have WAITED another year and NOT BOUGHT more liscenses when a majority of people are calling some of them crap.

Who had the brilliant idea to include Reggaeton in Pump? And worse, one of the most annoying groups ever (Big Metra).

Having other way better artists in L.A., they had to pick Big Metra... ugh.

I would have no problems with the game if songs that clearly already have arcade charts would have their arcade charts left over.... in other words I'm not a huge fan of having World Max exclusive songs when songs in question are older songs that weren't even in NX2, I think it is safe to say with the current amount of USB sticks out there and the fact that it is all a solo effort out of your pocket to get unlocks - the majority of the fanbase are still in Arcade Station land.... and of course I base this on absolutely nothing since non-USB users can no longer enter IR... :P

First time hearing it in its entirety, yeah. Same with the originals that aren't Canon-X1.

I actually would like to see even more drop off the list in favor of even more new tunes... I know it won't happen but hey I'd rather have 60 new tunes than 20 new tunes and 40 songs that need to be dropped anyway

Joking aside I don't think the dropped songs are too much a big deal.. although the overall amount of songs has dropped to 190.

Counting WM exclusives and SS content, that'll go up.

For example, only today we discovered the existence of "Caprice of DJ Otada" in Special Station.
