I don't think I was clear enough with what got this response from you I'll expound briefly.

The SX I have sitting out in my garage is the first Pump machine I ever played on back in 2002-3. The arcade it was originally in closed late 2007 and the machine ended up in my possession after bouncing between a wholesaler and one other owner who let it fall into pretty bad disrepair.

It's the sentimental value of the machine that makes it worth what I paid in comparison to you, sgx, and turkeyslam. I mean how often do you get a second chance in anything? I got a second chance at my SX and jumped at it.

P.S. Welcome to the ownership club. Have fun with the stomp/smash.

Ah, my bad. The message I got from that post was all "WELL YOU MIGHT HAVE GOTTEN IT FOR CHEAP BUT MINE...." etc.

That is really cool that you got that machine, though. :P

Hey, I've got a question for you PiU peoples.

I have an ITG2:Pump it Up dedicab from Andamiro. The decals on it are quickly fading away (mostly the button plate decal and the decals on the sides of the pad). I was wanting to throw the ITG3 theme onto my machine, and if possible, spiffy up the entire cab with the blue ITG3 theme.

Here's my question. Is there a PiU version that I could order the decal set for and replace my deteriorating ITG 2 decals with? I'm very unfamiliar with PiU, but from what I've read, ITG2 is basically just a PiU cabinet with the arrows in different positions. So If I did get the PiU decal kit, it should fit perfectly with my ITG2 cabinet, right?

It looks like PiU NX or NX2 has an "electric blue" theme, similar to ITG3, but I can't really tell from the web images.

My ITG2 cabinet is exactly like this:

So, what do you think? Think it'll work?

Unfortunately, mix has nothing to do with the cabinet's graphics. A GX cabinet (this is literally the same design and blue prints as an ITG2).

Andamiro only changes the marquee, and mod decal on the monitor frame for new mixes.

If you get the dimensions, I am sure you could whip something up in Photoshop and have it printed at Kinko's or something. If you really wanted, I could help out with it, as I've designed a decal kit for my GX based around PIU: NXA.

I'm not too bad w/ Photoshop myself, but if you've already gone through the trouble of making measurements and creating a template file, I'd be really grateful to get it from you! Since ITG3 doesn't "technically" have any official decal art, I could just whip something up and send it to those guys who make custom arcade side art.

EDIT: My previous post sounds very confusing. Let me try to explain it better in a few sentences.

My ITG2 cab's decals are worn and deteriorating. Since I want to make it look like a ITG3 cabinet, I was thinking of using the decal sets you can get for a PiU cabinet and putting them on my ITG2 machine. Is there a version of PiU that has a blue theme that would make a good replacement decal set for my ITG2 machine?

Hope that clarifies my original post...

The post was actually pretty clear. Atomika answered the question pretty accurately, but you CAN buy GX cabinet graphics. Problem is they're pretty expensive.

You're better off doing the custom stuff.

Shadow, I'm getting exact measurements this weekend. I'll send the template your way when I've got it done.
