Family Fun Arcade in Vestal/Endwell NY has been closed for a good while now, may want to take that off the list. That cabinet is in my basement now.

Hours: Open Mon 12am-2am, 6pm-4am; Tue-Thu 6pm-4am; Fri-Sat 5pm-4am; Sun 5pm-12am. The hours posted are a bit strange, so you may want to call before making a trip to the place to see if they're open.

$1.00 per play.

Currently, as of 6/28/2009, the place is still closed, but they're opening again in about a month. I had a chance to get in there and check out the machine and play a few rounds, it's in amazing condition, pads are perfect, sound is up nice and loud, and it's in the front window of the place facing the street, so you may even draw a crowd :3 I spoke with the owner of the place, and previously they only stayed open when classes were in session at Binghamton University, but they're working toward staying open year round now.

They also have a few other games from the TGA auction as well (non-Bemani). Worth checking out.

To update the list The Fun House in New Rochelle New York has two Pump it up Machines. PIU Pro and ZERO the 7th international dance stage both in mint condition and perfect pads.

Did they fix the pads or is this a new machine? The last time I played there, it was an old Exceed 2 that you had to stomp like a water buffalo to get the pads to register.

I think they're the same ones, but I never recalled them being that bad. The right side is perfectly fine but I still have some qualms with the left pad when it comes to freezes (mainly BR and TL) but I've still managed to do 16s and 17s on Nightmare.

I'm going back down tomorrow to check out some other details, seeing how it costs half the credit amount on Wednesdays.

I can't check if the USB is working but I'll see if they have any key cards (the answer is most likely no though and they're hard as shit to find online). Unless someone here buys one for me online and sells one to me, I'm SOL.

You bet your ass it does. Most of the good places have been closed down or flat out gone to crap. The Neshaminy has it beat out in everything from stores to actual regulars at their arcade.

You can't buy the sticks that way, since the minimum order for sticks is 20 = $200, and you have to do it via wire transfer.

The best way is to get your location to buy a set... or probably find someone (most likely on ph-online.net) who is selling them.

I haven't met an Asian who works there. One of the people I went to high school with now works there.

A few more details on the NXA machine:

No Pumbis for sale.
Too quiet. It takes these people eons to adjust the volume even with feedback, so it's gonna be a while.
