Nothing wrong with Training Station being 1P only. It's justified by a lot of lessons using both pads.

Most of the lessons in training station are one pad only. Give or take 80%. A lot of the time when someone is trying the game out, they're trying it with a friend, and if only one person can play at once the other stands around bored, or they alternate during one song, or play for 2 (and are surprised by the third), etc., etc.,

Having some sort of 2 player easy mode would help some.

Yeah, there's no reason they couldn't just lock out the double missions so two people can play training mission. A lot of brand new players tend to bring friends along.

Playing games with your feet? Thats so pre 11/05. I loved pump but I kinda feel dancing games as a whole are doing much worse. I have no idea how much DDR sales anymore but I wouldn't think nearly as well as it did in the early 00's. In the end PIU came at a bad time, 2005 is when Guitar Hero came out and raped music/rthym gaming for all it was worth.

Because PIU barely came out last week.
And actually people are still way into PIU.

Pump It Up came out six years before Guitar Hero.

The two games have nothing to do with each other.

What the hell are you talking about.

The guy failed on all levels since he's comparing a CS to a AC

Okay... Pump's been in the US market for FOUR more years than Guitar Hero.

And yes... AC dance game vs. CS guitar game = no.

It's just trolling as far as I'm concerned.

Fours years? I'd say 3 at best, actively talking.

Or maybe I'm wrong.

You're wrong.

June 2001 = Premiere released internationally.
November 2005 = Guitar Hero first released.

Some Pump machines were in America before that, but that's when Andamiro's initiative to tackle the international market began.

Yeah, but Pump wasn't strong in the US until very later versions were released :s Anyone knows better the game adquired more force in other territories.

Not like people (in general) in the US know and played really old versions like OBG, Extra or stuff, unlike Brazil or Mexico.

It was VERY strong in certain areas (New Orleans, Maryland, etc). The only difference is that tons of people quit and got replaced by tons of new fans.

I don't think the US's market has increased THAT much since 2001/2002.

It got noticed more since Exceed 2 probably because of ITG but it's been back on a downhill probably to where it was in early 2000 at this point, like you said with new fans.

And comparing GH to PIU is like saying Soul Calibur IV stole Dynasty Warriors' thunder. Two similar genre's, two entirely different target audiences and games and releases.
