Known stuff so far:
-It'll feature not only the Zero tracks, but also some songs from NX itself (including Chimera, You inside my dim memory, FAE2-1, FAE2-2, etc).
-It'll have other unlockables, like Zero's noteskins.
-The unlock system will be replaced (YAY!) with some kind of store, where you can buy the songs and all the hidden stuff.
-Story Mode?!
-It has Easy Station, like the original Zero.
-Adhoc modes for 2 players.
*Goes quickly and preorders*

Game looks awesome.
And before we get any "Aww why on the PSP?" people. Just gtfo this is what i've been waiting for ever since Exceed Portable came out.
The Zero interface is my favorite so this is like a special treat for me that I can take with me anywhere.

I wouldn't blame Andamiro, after seeing how poor the Exceed SE sales were

I mean... an import game like Jump Ultimate Stars for NDS has worldwide online.
Why wouldn't Pump Zero have it, too?

I wonder if they kept all the stations and modes from Zero.
Like Remix Station
EDIT:
CONFIRMED THEY KEPT THE REMIX STATION
Or Another Station(maybe)
I've always wanted to try LIADZ2[A] CZ on my PSP lol
As if I haven't cracked and broken the frame enough from playing Canon D CZ on Exceed so many times xD.
BTW you can pause it

*Hoping to see Bemera or Wi Ex Doc Va in this*

Call me crazy, but I'm good with that.

Hey I know... Let's keep complaining about the PSP version so they don't even make that!
Then we wont have to worry about being disappointed with everything AM does with PIU. Quote:

| That theory has been shot down because you can clearly see "Songs" in the lower right of the store section that the NX songs are in.

Er
Point 1: I have no idea how the Korean/Asian PS2 release of Exceed sold, but I would not attribute its success or failure to anything we did in the USA; if it was a success, I would not expect the failure of the American PS2 port to affect future Asian releases
Point 2: It's true that the Exceed SE did terribly because there was little to no interest generated about it, but with a mediocre product (Exceed SE's presentation was beyond awful) and a small fan base, Andamiro's advertising philosophy in the USA ("Print five publicity posters and accidentally ship them to a Starbucks in Montana. Promotion? That costs money! Get the players to do it!") really destroyed what chance it might have had of mainstream success
For the record, I enjoy these games, want them to succeed, and try to get other people to play them, but my devotion does not go to the point of being an unpaid PR employee for Andamiro. Not that I thought you were insinuating that we should be; I just felt like pointing out that blaming Exceed SE's poor sales is a gross oversimplification and that Pump might do better over here if Andamiro would bother to advertise.

Exceed SE was incredibly good. What's mediocre about it? Nice game, nice extras, good price, it even got praised by media like EGM (which can be such elitist idiots).
Also, it's kind of curious that, in their strongest market (Mexico and LA), Exceed SE was so poorly distributed :/ The very few copies of Exceed SE that arrived here sold almost instantly.

The PSP works better for them. Fine.
And its a fact AM makes the most money off of their arcade cabinets. Turkeyslam at PH already confirmed over 80 NX cabinets IN KOREA ALONE. Korea is roughly the size of New York State. Why would they now make it so you don't have to go to the arcade to dance, now just pay one payment of $49.99 for your disc and pad and never go to the arcade again cause frankly, why should you? You can just go out and mod the pad to have a base of whatever you want, or even buy a metal one.
Maybe i'm just lucky I have a Zero arcade machine near here, so when i'm tired of playing that and don't want to dance anymore after rounds of fun gameplay, I can sit down and play the same songs on my PSP until i'm ready again to get back on the pad.

*snip* | Sure, just don't go around saying it was entirely the fault of the American market.
You do have a point about the prevalence of NX machines versus lost revenue from people playing the home versions instead of the arcade versions, but that's why their (and Konami's, for that matter) console releases lag behind their arcade releases; plus, even if people have a good metal pad setup at home, they won't stop going to the arcade, especially if their version is one or two releases behind; look at DDR for another example, the hardcore players go to the arcade whether or not there are home releases, while I'm pretty sure the majority of players (not serious players, just players) here in the US have the console version and wouldn't play in the arcade anyway if they didn't. I wouldn't think that enough people would quit playing in arcades to stay at home and play an old release that it would impact their earnings that much, but then Koreans are fucking weird so I wouldn't quite put it past them.
Such arguments are pretty much moot, because they're already tried home console releases, and for whatever reason they've decided that those aren't the way to go. I happen to think that they could market one with some success if they really tried, but arguing about it on an internet forum isn't going to change anything. I think releasing Pump titles on the PSP is a dumb idea, but obviously enough people disagree with me to make Exceed Portable enough of a hit to convince them to release Zero too. Arguing about it on an internet forum isn't going to change anyone's opinion about that, either, I'm just trying to articulate why exactly I don't like the idea, instead of going around going all LURR DURR DURR, THSI PUMP IS A SUCK!!!!one
Hell, I might even buy it if I had a PSP, but that wouldn't stop me from questioning why they don't release one you can play with your feet, you know, like it was designed for.
EDIT: You are lucky, by the way. The Zero near me is at Dave & Buster's, is overpriced, and runs on a DX cabinet with shitty pads and a blurry, misaligned screen. NX is an hour away and I can't go but a couple times a month.
