A Question on "Division Mode"

Feel free to laugh at the question, but it's as simple as probably all your answers will be.

What exactly is "Division Mode"? I've only ever played PIU NX and to my knowledge unless I'm just that blind there is no Division Mode.

Only real reason I ask this is b/c of a video I have on Youtube doing Dr. M [Another CZ] and someone posted something around the lines of "Division Mode steps! I missed them I'm so glad they're making a comeback! lol" and that's when it hit me, what exactly is this Mode being spoken of? Just a simple question to all the fans.

Division is a mode that only appears in Rebirth and Premiere 2.

In this mode, you have access to all the songs available in Rebirth (or the new ones (no revivals like Beethoven, Another Truth or etc) in Rebirth 2). When you start a song, you'll randomly see some letters passing by (G and W). Stepping on such letters will change the stepchart in the following ways:

G = Groove. Steps increase difficult level to Hard-like patterns.
W = Wild. Same thing as above, but with Crazy-like patterns. Not sure about this, but the more W's you get during the song, the harder the patterns become.

If you don't step on any letter, you'll play a very easy stepchart.

the cool thing about division was if you hit all the w's (they weren't random) you'd get way harder stepcharts for all the songs. will o the wisp all wilds got even faster at the end and just had insanely long drills on the same two arrows forever.

You know it's kind of funny how you mention the long sped up drills on the same two arrows for the ending....

the 2nd mission in World Tour Mode (Valencia) or closely spelled that, it's Will-O-The Whisp and it starts off real close together (but with added mines obviously) and as you go on the steps spread out more and the speed increases, don't know if there's a YouTube video or something of it but yeah according to what you said above, familiarance in my mind.

For the record that Mission was fun too lol
