Default Running PIU NX on an MK5 board?

I'm curious as to whether it would work or not. I have been told by a few people that it does, but is a bit lacking as far as performance goes. I thought that maybe adding more RAM to the computer could get it up to speed?

I ask this because I recently bought a Premiere 3 GX cabinet ($1300 and it's in amazing shape, what a steal ) and am buying an NX and Zero kit soon, to tide me over until I purchase an NX2 kit and MK6.

If anyone has any knowledge on the matter, let me know.

bad idea man. I seen a Zero on a MK5 and currently (at my arcade) a NX2 on a MK5 a it will on bring you frustration.

2 types of LAG

1. Video lag
2. Too many arrows on the screen lag

For some reason our Motherboard died out on us twice now and the owner finally realized he made a mistake and believe that the computer is too old for NX2
It works, however its not worth it. If you can do some mods on the MK5 I say go ahead and if you have some success come back and post pictures

NX on a Mk.5 is absolutely not worth the trouble.

There's also a potential risk for the HDD of NX to be damaged.

That happened once with a NX here, it was installed on a mk5, and after a while it literally blew

try replace the mk5 mainboard to another regular PC mainboard and your video card to better NVIDIA card.

I believe the mainboard needs
- Compatible audio board with Realtek "AC'97" or "High Definition", or ES1989 Allegro driver.
- Northbridge : Intel 865G GMCH or Intel 910GL
- Southbridge : Intel ICH5 or Intel ICH6
- Minimun of 400Mhz FSB

hint: try your own and friends boards first!
