I'd say hold off and wait for the machine... home hard pads are poorly built unless you do it yourself now that my friend Mike doesn't make them anymore.

Mine works fine, honestly. You have to kinda beat it into working properly if you haven't used it in a while, but after a few charts, it's back to normal.

But it for damn sure doesn't beat a machine's pads. Unless you're severely impatient, I'd wait. The projected amount for these things is a big dent in the pocket, especially considering they aren't really that high of quality.

But, I mean, they definitely work.

ok so i saw noone mention this but you were saying you looked for a way to bind the pad to keypresses. there is a program callled GlovePie that can do just that.

Carl.Kenner - GlovePIE download

if you use this and have any questions, feel free to ask

Well, the funny thing about this pad is that it's not installed as a gamepad device. All the other binding programs that I used couldn't find the pad. D:

With that being said, I'll definitely give this program a try once I have access to my pad again. lol (my car's in the shop; my pad's in the trunk...I'm retarded)

I bought the DDR Nexen Version Last summer. I'm surpirsed about the shipping since it took them just a week to ship mine, and that was a trip from Cali to NJ.

I was slightly dissapointed with mine since it registered the steps better on the center of each pad rather than on the inside edge, and they had a sort of click to them. I did manage to open the pads up and mod them, so now it feels a lot closer to the arcade than before.
