Ticket Redemption

So, I was reinitializing our PiU NX after the new computer and monitor board arrived, and noticed the line "Ticket Dispenser: NOT CONNECTED" in the main service menu screen. Wow, Pumpy can serve up tickets. That's awesome.

My question is, has anyone actually seen this little-known feature actually being used? How does it work? What do you get tickets for? If our GX cab had room for a dispenser I'd consider adding one.

It would be probably depending on your combo... at that point you would need new tickets like every 2 hours

The operator can adjust how many tickets it spits out.

we never put ticket dispensers on arcade games (like drivers, dancey, etc.) because they are games people play regardless. why give tickets when we don't need to?

No arcade would be crazy enough to use this feature, because the steppers would clean out their prizes the same day.

Assuming skill gets you more, at least.

well how about someone sets one up and tries it? I am sure someone on this forum has a NX2 machine, as I have seen many people with pump it up machines.

Don't look a me. I don't know where I'd put a ticket mech, much less want to BUY a ticket mech and tickets for it.

My machine is in a public location in Grand Rapids, MI. Adding a ticket dispenser (according to the city of Grand Rapids) would make it a form of a gambling device... which are not allowed in the city of Grand Rapids.

And buying one would probably be a waste of money... yeah exactly a waste of $178...
