I'm right next to Charlotte, but I won't be able to make it :\ It would've conflicted with AWA, but now I just plain don't have any money and can't afford to be driving around. I'd love to go meet you guys in person, but every opportunity I have for that kind of thing gets screwed, like this.

If i did go though, I would only be able to get there either like really early Saturday, or really late on Friday. Where in Charlotte is this happening?
I have never been to one of these things before. This is the first one I could probably make it to.  How much does it cost to watch? Or is it free?

here in mexico the last year cost only 10 pesos(1 Dolar) the ticket xD

It's actually in the South Charlotte area, in a nice suburban park. Outdoors, covered stage area. Yes, I'm pretty sure admission will be free to watch.
It'll likely begin late morning Saturday and run all afternoon (depends on number of entrants that show up).
All the details (addresses, host hotel, additional Festival events, etc.) are coming VERY soon.
focus pumper -- Damn! Hahaha, we're not on the scale of Mexico yet, so we don't have enough pumpers for an big auditorium or a BanYa concert yet! I hope one day, though! | |

I will most likely get too caught up in work and forget about it. 
Missing that orientation thing on friday wont be that big of a deal, will it?

Update: I might be able to make it after all. My friend's got a job, so we shouldn't be so pressed for money. We both live in Fort Mill, which is just south of Charlotte, so gas wouldn't be too much of a problem (for some reason, I was thinking it was further away than Charlotte).
