Got into DDR and got sick of it. Dont get me wrong I still love DDR to DEATH but PIU has more of a variety of songs and I like you have to memorize all the codes to do what you want so you know whos more into it than other people when they have mods up the yin yang because they prob memorized them all. I like the charts and how most of them flow out perfectly. I also think doubles on PIU is more fluid than doubles on DDR because of how the arrows are positioned. I also like that pump has doubles for credit by default because if it didnt I wouldnt be so into nightmare and I fucking love nightmare, its my fav mode. They actually need to bring back half doubles. XD But anyway... those are my reasons.

I play PIU because I was getting bored of DDR, and had never tried PIU. So I imported Exceed USA fro Play-Asia and ever since my first song (which was Winter <3) I have loved this game so much.

Plus, in the space of 1 week I've got from total beginner to Aing 12s. =D

I'm terrible at timing, and I like the more lax timing window. =D

The songs have more variety (And frankly, most Japanese people's taste in music is... erm... bad.).

It's a lot more physically demanding than DDR, and has many difficult patterns to get down.

Don't have to pay for 2 people to play doubles.

Amdamiro actually puts effort into their dance game, unlike Konami (Although this is becoming less true as of late).

The community is really cool, in my opinion, compared to 4-panel

I have been playing ddr ever since it came out, but when i recently discovered PIU i got hooked on it, mainly because of the diverse music list, it's pretty great. and the bga are very cool to look at.

It's new to me. I get to learn again and be expose to other music from different countries besides japan, america, or britian. Best thing I discovered on it: crossovers.

i love PIU for many reasons.

the videos never lag the song, and the videos kick ass!

i LOVE the music on there, Phantom/Dignity/Moonlight/FA 2-1 AND 2-2 just plain kick ass

its a new thing and i love trying new things out, 5 panels instead of 4? people went nuts!

I'd checkmark all 5 boxes in the poll, but there ARE exceptions to certain charts outside of the Another station that are just plain crap, but not everything can be perfect. =P

I play Pump for all the reasons! It's really really fun, the music is best, I love all the videos and I keep my figure playin' it :3

I love PIU for the fun step charts, awesome music, (Greenhorn, Phantom, & Do It Yourself = <3)and pretty much every other reason mentioned in the poll, allthough I do hate the game over sound with a passion!(that guy yelling "hey man, why don't you just get up and dance!").
