In Singapore, ramen's the last thing you'd eat if you're broke. Imagine, a simple bowl costs at least SGD$4.00.

I had an enormous omlette sandwich today. It wasn't too good actually.. from now on I will stick with Croissandwich's.

SGD$4.00 for a bowl that someone makes for you, or for the instant ramen that you buy at a grocery store and take home to make yourself?

What do you eat in Singapore if you're broke?

To stay on topic, my breakfast today was one of those small packets of Quaker oats with the maple and brown sugar flavoring. I added an equal amount of plain Quaker oats to it and doubled the amount of boiling water that's added to fill the bowl and to dilute the sweetness.

Even those at a grocery store which you buy and take home to make for yourself costs money. Think about the water, gas, and washing detergent usage...either way it's still not my choice. I go for just a loaf of bread. It costs like SGD$1+.

Dry wheat toast, although sounding not very appetizing, is actually very delicious.

I love toast, myself, wheat or white, jam or not. Very good in the morning.

My dad just sent me up five boxes of cereal, so I am set now. Screw paying $2+ per bowl at the cafeteria.

If water, gas, and detergent usage brought the cost up to be comparable to dining out, wouldn't everyone just dine out then? Let me guess, with the cost of electricity in Singapore, you don't toast your loaf of bread?

My breakfast varies everyday. I don't have "routine" meals.

I swear to god I eat the wierdest shit for breakfast.

Whenever I go to Ihop for breakfast I get an Ihop burger with onion rings and either a coke with 2 refills or a never ending coffee pot. My record's decent for coffee- 4 cups in like 30 minutes. I was wired. The coffee at my Ihop = good.

Sometimes I go get chinese for breakfast. I think I'm doing that today.

Other times I go get Panera bread which is acceptable.

Rarely I'll get empenadas, but the bitch at the spanish restaurant is just that, a bitch, and going there is always unwelcomed. So fuck her even if her empenadas are big and juicy. Slut.

Oh, don't worry, you're not the only one.

I can't remember the last time I've gone to a Dennys, IHOP, or any national diner like them during the breakfast hours where I've gotten something that was on the breakfast menu. Case in point: Last week I went to IHOP, it was about 9:30, 10am. Everyone else ordered typical breakfast stuff (Pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, etc., juice or coffee), as for me....

...I got the Beer-Battered Fish Sandwich. With onion rings, a side of ranch, and the obligatory pickle.
