My sister used Alton Brown's recipe from the Food Network and for someone who's never cooked more than an egg in her life, it was absolutely delightful.
It involved brining the turkey (which kept from drying out and gave it a good flavor). We almost accidentally bought a frozen one the day before Thanksgiving which would've been disasterous.
Oh, and our oven broke. Good thing we had a random turkey roaster in our basement. o_O |
