I will find out the name of that white-fleshed fish I keep on munching on. . . | If I were to take a guess, could it by chance by Hamachi? (Google it)
Or, if you classify squid as fish, it could possibly be Ika.
Both are very good I might add.

That said, I usually go for unagi or maguro... but I'll eat mostly any kind of sushi. One exception is california rolls, though; I can't stand the imitation crab meat in those. :6

I'm not much of a sushi fan but I still like Japanese food overall. Ebi/Shrimp or Fish Tempura, Teriyaki, Katsudon, Oyakodon, Japanese plain/white rice, Japanese Fried Rice, Miso Soup, you name it.
Top favorite cuisine/food of mine is always Japanese. Also important to know that for those in the culinary/restaurant/food business, Japanese food WILL NEVER GO WRONG. It's a guaranteed cash-cow (compared to other cuisine/food from other nationalities)

One of these days, I'll have to try it with sake. But I'll have to have someone drive me to the sushi bars, since I easily get drunk and I'm aware at how strong sake is.

I swear I take to sake better than I take to wine, whisky, or butterscotch schnapps.
On-topic:
Slightly old hamachi is nasty.

Or it could just be that my stomach and can't handle uncooked food that well.
