Obviously salads without fatty bacon bits and fat-free dressing are good. Sandwiches generally are, but make sure the lunch meat you use isn't bad. Soup can be okay if you don't overeat it. Obviously fast food in general is bad.
Ideally right now I want suggestions for quick healthy snacks and meals I can make (within 10-15 minutes of work or less), and also want to have this thread around for future reference and everyone to use. | |

Also use dressing that is not creamy and that you can see through it. Ranch, thousand island has about 30 grams of fat in a 1 oz serving. Thats not a whole lot less than the average 1/4 pound patty burger.
For snacks I think fruit works best. Otherwise try bread. I should speak for myself cuz my snacks usually is chips.
Overall its important to balance your nutrition. People disagree with me but I don't particularly think Vitamin C pills should substitute vegetables and fruits. Vitamin C pills have about 800% of ur DV and its not good for your nutrition rate to spike at such high amounts in regular intervals. It should be more gradual.

Wheat bread, tomato, cheddar cheese slices (white cheese is far better for you though, thanks Zane)lettuce, and some gooood chicken.
Then throw in some Vitamin water and an Orange or two.
Congrats, one of the healthiest meal known to man.
Also, I was on staff at an anime con once, where we have ZERO time for food.
What did I eat almost the whole time? Fruit, that's it. Why? The staff lounge had a fruit bowl out at all time. Pick one up and go. Put a bowl of fruit in your kitchen, remove all snack food. Now you eat fruit.
Also cherries are damn sexy.
Also: Pasta and shrimp with tomato sauce and broccoli
1 Bowl of Pasta
10 Diced Shrimp (Raw, but you can use pre-cooked)
1 Can of Tomato Sauce
10 Broccoli
Add some cheese too
Awesome.

Awesome. | Natural White cheeses are far better for you than orange cheeses due to a much lower fat count, but this is solid as hell information. Last time I went to AX (god forbid) I ate fruit the entire time. If you want fast food, El Pollo Loco is pretty much as good as it gets for healthy. Grilled chicken breast is amazing, can pretty much do whatever you want with it, and it's amazing.
And the pasta is choice.

White cheese > Cheddar cheese.
I'll try to throw some more recipes up soon.
