Default Krispy Kreme anyone?!

These doughnuts are the best. They should have more branches here in our country. Discuss!

Krispy Kreme Original Glazed Doughnuts are made of pure epic win.

Granted, the one that I have where I am now isn't half bad.

I personally am not too fond of 'doughnuts' myself (or is it 'donuts'?)

However, I did visit Krispy Kreme twice and I do like their milkshakes and their hot chocolate.

Boy that was yummy

Also something to note

In my country, Krispy Kreme has a strong following. In fact, the first Krispy Kreme Drive-Thru restaurant in Asia was built here.

Just an fyi

Both are correct spellings. Krispy Kreme uses the former.

Since we're from the same country, where would that be? I had no idea there was a drive-thru branch here.

Anyway, I really love the glazed donuts. Well, I find the other flavors kinda sweet but the original one owns. I also love the UAAP Final Four donuts they sell exclusively in the Philippines, especially the blue one.

Krispy Kreme is massively over rated. I'll take a fresh winchell's anyday over their crap.

I thought they were closing down Krispy Kreme? Or was it like downsizing similar to what Starbucks did recently?

I remember when Krispy Kreme first opened here in my state. People were addicted to them at first but now almost all of them are shut down. The glazed doughnuts were massively sweet. I rather take a glazed doughnut from a Winchell's or Dunkin Doughnuts. But I rarely eat them now.

I see

So it's okay either way then

Greenhills, San Juan, Metro Manila, Philippines

It's beside the Mcdo restaurant there.

I'm not really a fan of Krispy Kreme. I'd rather get real doughnuts from a bakery.

Yeah, there's this one place right next to my work run by a little asian lady, she makes the best fuckin donuts in town.

And then those bastards at Dunkin Donuts fucking opened a shop right IN FRONT of hers...needless to say I won't ever set foot in there...

The only thing that sucks is the 5:00am-12pm business hours (which I think is typical of small donut shops), but if I ever crave one outiside that time I'll just go to a grocery store.

And yeah Krispy Kreme is good, but there's only one thats even close to me.

There used to be a few here in Boston and surrounding cities but they all went out of business thanks to Dunkin Donuts. Friends and I loved the donuts too.

Krispy Kreme is p disgusting compared to most mom n' pop doughnut bakeries tbh.

Especially here in the bay area where we get STAN'S DOUGHNUTS!

Seriously, Krispy Kreme doesn't hold a fucking candle to Stan's.

Krispy Kreme started in North Carolina... and I'm not one for sticking by them just because of that, but I fucking love their Glazed doughnuts as opposed to any alternatives. I don't want a sweet food that tastes like bread; I want to fucking have diabetes by the time I'm done eating it. That's why I can't stand Dunkin' Donuts. I feel like I'm just eating a loaf of bread or something. And we don't have Winchell's down here, I don't think.

I had Krispy Kreme once, and it was disgusting. It was like eating a bowl of sugar mixed in with gelatin, not my idea of good baked goods.

I've never had Dunkin' but if I'm guessing right from this description they are cake doughnuts which are a lot easier/better to eat when you dunk them in milk or coffee. I'm kinda guessing that's how they came up with the name too :P
