Late IHOP

Am I the only one who, on occassion, gathers his friends to go to IHOP past midnight and share funny stories?

I used to, a long long time ago. I don't know why we don't do it anymore, especially with those tasty funnel cakes around.

We don't have an IHOP anywhere near my home town (and 20 minutes from campus here). Denny's was the late-night breakfast place of choice for me and my family/friends. Good times.

The end of my street lacks an IHOP, but there's both a 24-hour mexican restaurant (and a good one, at that) and a Denny's.

So there's a decent pick.

We're probably going to start doing this once we graduate. Most of our parents keep a pretty tight hold on our lives so we can't just go out like the majority of chinese people here, wandering the streets with their friends at 3 in the morning...

Havent done it in awhile, but their food is so damn expensive. I usually get a thing of coffee and thats all I would want to spend. $6 for 4 pancakes? thats robbery! being a student like me has its downs... no money

never knew why IHOP is the suddenly a great hang out at midnight. I guess i just don't look at the clock and think "its midnight, better go and get food.' either that or i'm just not cool enough to go.

That sort of sucks, my dad never cared about what I did that I can recall. I never did or would do a damn thing to make him mistrust me, so he let me have free rein. Went to spend the night at some friends' houses (all male friends) and he didn't care since he knew nothing happened. Same with late night Denny's runs. Good times, pancakes at 3am. They're so much tastier when the sun hasn't/won't been/be out in several hours.

I used to do the late night breakfast style resteraunt runs with my friends. In high school, we would go to Perkins (since IHOPs didn't exist in our area until just recently and there were only a couple of Denny's but they were not as close) and play Trivia Pursuit while eating breakfast foods and drinking too much coffee. Eventually, the management changed and they decided we couldn't play games there but we still hung out there from like 11:00pm-1:00am. In college we had a regular Perkins meet up for the various geeks on a certain local message board. Even more people and crazy amounts of food and coffee. It eventually turned into the place to go after the night clubs closed (and for some of the people to sober up). Now a days, I hit the newly built IHOPs around 2:00pm for breakfast on Sundays after staying up way too late on Saturday with one or two friends. Not as much coffee, but still good times.

this one time i went to ihop and i got pink lemonade and the waitress kept bringing it so i kept drinking it and i drank five or six glasses and i wanted to die :<

It's best to start while (at least some of) you are still in high school.
