Default The Mc-Rib is back.

Yet again? I just heard an add about about the mcdonald's mcrib is back yet once again?

Didn't last year there was an add stating that the mcrib was going to be gone for good?

Or do they do this every year? Where they say it will never return again but the following year it always does?

My dad just got one yesterday and he said it was good. I stuck to getting my Chicken Selects with chipotle BBQ sauce. 8)

Shouldn't this be moved to cooking & food?

I haven't really had a McRib yet. It looks really small for how much it costs.. Is it pretty filling?

Yeah, moved.

Also, McRib is great. I can't remember how filling it was, but I remember having one and feeling sad that it was a limited time thing.

Last year was the Farewell Tour.

This year it's the Farewell Tour II.

They are just playing with my emotions I tell you. >:[

I still remember when they first made the McRib. It was a promotional deal that coincided with The Flintstones movie. You could also buy these cool mug thingies that were Flintstones based. Kinda like the Batman ones.

Either McDonald's needs to learn that people actually LIKE the McRib and make it a part of the permanent menu, or if they already know this, they need to stop pretending they're not going to bring it back.

Having to remarket it each time they bring it back has got to burn some money. If they just brought it back as a seasonal thing, eventually people would remember and they could save some of those marketing dollars. Word-of-mouth advertising is some of the best possible.

It's like Cher. It's going to have a million farewell tours and never actually leave for good.

That sounds mighty tasty, though I've never seen one in my life.

Is it available in Canada?

Nope. The McRib predates the Flintstones movie by quite a bit. The McRib was first introduced in 1981. The Flintstones movie was like mid 90's.
