poutine is a really kickass canadian dish that is basically this

fries
lots of gravy
cheese curds

it is delicious, i used to have one restaurant give a hugeassed plate of it and have curly fries substituted for the regular ones

certainly not good for you but it's hella awesome

I never knew it had cheese, I thought it was just fries and gravy.

Gawd I always wanted to try poutine. Too bad they don't serve that here. Chili cheese fries here and bacon ranch fries there. I guess people don't see fries and gravy going together.

At some diners in New Jersey they have "disco fries" with gravy and cheese. Haven't tried it though.

Disco fries sound like a disgrace to my favourite genre of music.

Canada is trying to catch up on the overweight fad that America has started.

McDonald's makes a killer Poutine.

Maybe because I haven't had it anywhere else.

I've always wanted to try poutine. It sounds delicious. Maybe a bit salty, but still delicious.
