(read: BMS Fatass Convention) My god, if there's anything that's better than a buffet restaurant, I don't want to hear it. Ever since I went to my first chinese buffet restaurant, I've been hooked since. Today I stopped by at an asian buffet and here's what it offered.
$5.49 Dine-In Lunch
$.49 Soft Drinks, UNLIMITED REFILLS (Special Summer deal, started today and I shit you not.)
Entrees include but not limited to:
- Assorted Sushi
California rolls w/ salmon roe, red snapper, inari, fatty tuna
- Pork Dim Sum
- Other Assorted chinese entrees
- Baked cheese-topped crab ( )
- Pizza (lol)
- Full salad and dessert bars.
- Do it yourself soft serve station
- WAY MORE
Me, my mom and my younger sister, alltogether less than $21.
So Bemanistyle, your mission is to share your best buffet dining experiences and what they had.
BEGIN!

Only one I've been to is Hometown Buffet. Generic buffet, but it's good.

There was a swanky place where I used to live that had a really good buffet for $6.50 (i'd never drink pop, just water). Sushi, fried rice, chicken teriyaki, all sorts of tasty goodies, I loved it all. The thing that really sucked was that if you didn't get there early, you'd have to wait 30 minutes or so for a booth, it was that damn good. Of course, I could only eat about two plates, and that was it for me. The food was delicious, and in a world of restaurants that make me sick to my stomach, that was the one place that never did.

All you can eat Japanese hot foods (yakisoba, teriyaki, tempura, udon, etc.). Crepes and desserts of all sorts. Of course, my personal favorite; All you can eat snow crab legs, lobster claws, oysters and shrimp. This place is heaven and all for about $25. It's a little expensive, but considering the amount and quality of food you can get it's amazing.

After eating the sushi in Japan, I have lost my taste for most of the sushi here in the States. . .and that mascot SO looks like a condom. . .
Back on-topic. . .
The best buffets, unfortunately, cost an arm, a leg, and a Play-Asia IIDX controller to eat at. However. . .Plumeria Cafe (Kahala Mandarin) has the best bread pudding ever, while the Oceanarium always has an awesome fish dish.
The buffet at Pagoda is pretty good for a family gathering buffet (I think it was over $10 a person). I remember them for their rainbow jello.
I can't eat at most Chinese buffets, for I am horribly allergic to MSG.
Erm. . .does the Pizza Hut buffet count?
EDIT - Ah. . .my hips are 37"? I don't know about fat people and buffets, but. . .

Yeah, we did their weekend brunch. Great buffet indeed! My favorites were crab legs, shellfish (clams, mussels, shrimp, scallops, but unfortunately no lobster), a fried pig with very crispy skin, seaweed salad, bacon, fresh pineapple, pumpkin pie, and guava juice (yes, juice is included). It was about $25, but totally worth it, and the huge indoor aquarium with the sting rays and other fish were cool (no, I didn't want to take my revenge on the sting rays for the Crocodile Hunter's premature demise). I heard there was a lobster buffet there on Tuesday and Wednesday nights, but that just didn't work for us.
Speaking of lobster buffets, the one in Orlando, Florida is very good. All the lobster you can eat for something like $26. The clams were also very good.

Khan's Mongolian BBQ is freaking delicious. Mmmmm all you can eat bowls of lamb.

Stop resurrecting dead threads and at least put some sort of effort into your post other than "lol a fat guy was there."
