We have a lot in the Boston area, around 8 - 10. They're signs for things are original, which I like too.

It was a huge chunk of tuna in a curry sauce, with potatoes and a few other things, can't really remember. But they're ingenious, I'm going there today to stock up on healthy munchies.

Now I know organic stuff is real expensive and all at regular supermarkets but TJ's is reasonable. I love how they give you free samples of their products like 4 cheese and spinach pizza or bbq ribs made with soy. Their juices are great too!
But not all their products are great. I've tried some stuff that made me regret buying. But here's what I DO like to get.
Mandarin chicken
4 cheese spinach pizza
Chocolate peanut butter cups (these are so damn addicting like reeses)
Cinnamon pita chips
TJ's Lemonade
Soy bbq ribs (once in a while)
Sir Strawberry juice
Peach juice
Chicken quesadillas
Chicken shumai's
Teriyaki chicken
Turkey and sausage strombolis (once in a while)
Pistachio cake
Beef/chicken enchiladas
Beef/chicken tamales
That's all I can think of for now. Making this list made me real hungry.

That, and I recently found a product with partially hydrogenated oil in it, a HUGE no no in my book. That doesn't mean I like them less, but it made me keep my eyes open.

One reason that I like trader joes is because so much of the food is pre cooked, so it's easier than anything to make. For example:
Precooked wild rice, vacuum sealed and ready to be heated. 4 dollars for a pack that is 3 cups; usually uncooked wild rice runs about 7 a pound at the Whole Foods by me.
Ribs packaged in bbq sauce, presmoked and (I think) precooked. Just slap em on the grill and enjoy. If you don't like smoky foods, I wouldn't suggest em, but I'm not a fan of smoky and I started liking then after the first rib.
And damn, do I love the fact that they're almost 100% organic. Not fully; I've found TJ products with partially hydrogenated oils (fries, what can you do) but for the most part, I found their standards to be immaculately high.
One more reason why I love TJ's: practically every employee at my location is friendly, smiles, and actually talks to you. In shoprite, you get a drop dead attitude, in Whole Foods, a snide one, but here, it feels like they actually care.
Funny story, I walked in with a Hawaiian shirt on, and when we checked out the cashier thought I was an employee. Did a double take and everything.

The best thing there has to be their frozen enchiladas. My mom always brings back like a dozen packages of them every time she goes.
If you can get a job at TJ's, I would suggest it. I've heard it's a great place to work.
