While at a funeral, I decided to partake in some meatballs. One of the meatballs looked like it had something strange on it. I took a closer look. . .and discovered that it was a roach that had been baked on the meatball.
And here's a story of something I didn't find:
My school would occasionally serve lomi salmon (which is usually comprised of minced raw onions, green onions, cubed raw tomatoes, and cubed salmon, all mixed up) with lunch. I found out that there was no salmon in our school's lomi salmon. I guess it's like eating vegetarian meat - it is, but it isn't.

Needless to say, I didn't really each lunch at my school for the next four years, nor did I have the appetite for it. The sad part is, even though they were called on it, it still happened. Stupid public schools.

Ironically, I just removed them, rinsed the noodles on running water, and cooked them.

Back at my old job I used to be a cashier for Jack In The Box for about 2 years.
One of my managers was a dirty mexican (didn't know english so I don't know how he became manager).
Anyway, one day one of the ladies was cooking meat when she placed another case of them near the edge of the counter and she turned and knocked it to the floor letting all the meet sprawl onto the floor and under the fryers.
We were busy during that time and my manager quickly picked them all up (with no glove) and dragged the ones that fell under the fryer to him with a spatula.
Somehow I don't know how no one but the workers noticed and they just served them those patties as if nothing happened.
I couldn't do anything about it though >.>
And I'm sure some of those people got hair/dirt in their food.
Henceforth, I don't work there anymore and when I did I always made my own burger.
