Hi Guys :D

So I'm now a mod of this forum and I want to officially welcome everyone to the food/cooking/baking forum.


As far as rules go, there isn't a lot:

I don't give two shits about language.
And while I could care less about flaming, apparently I have to, so don't do it because it's mean and super bad.

Ideally, no ramen discussion because, honestly, ramen sucks.

Try to keep it on topic (the point of the forum), but food is such a broad category that this shouldn't be an issue.



There will be polls, discussion, recipe sharing, etc etc
At some point I'd like to have contests, but I have a feeling that will be tricky, due in large part to taste not transferring particularly well over the internet.
I'm thinking of a decorating contest though, so that would be fun. If anyone has other ideas, feel free to share them.


Anyway, have fun guys and keep participating :D

I am all for a food decorating contest of some sort. Like, prettiest presentation or unique arrangement or just simple holiday cookie decoration (everyone can do that). Sounds neat, and tasty.

Well, the best I can think of is that everyone submit a recipe with the picture of the dish for the contests...

And seriously, this place is fun to hang out cos' there is little to no flaming unlike other forums! Good job people!

And let's hope the upcoming competition will not end up like the situation in the theming community!
