Right now my parents have something in the microwave.

I ate Pizza Pops for supper with the same radioactive cooking magic. There was root beer as well.

I made Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast a couple of mornings ago, out of boredom...from scratch.

...Making gravy from scratch takes for-fucking-ever.

I like making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. They're awesome with a glass of milk. i also enjoy making the occasional scrambled eggs or refried beans. Other than that, I either have cereal for dinner (part of my weight loss plan) or I just go to Subway.

I do a lot in the kitchen, but nothing that's a real specialty. If anyone's got a Panera around (or St. Louis bread if it's still called that where you live) I can make a decent version of their tomato & mozzarella salad. I found a recipe and did it myself because I was pissed that they never put it on the menu here this summer. Word to the wise: if you ever find a recipe calling for sea salt, take the amount called for and cut it by 3/4ths. That or have a gallon tank of ice water ready when you eat. That shit's strong.

That's about as elaborate as I get...the rest of my repertoire is stuff like breakfast items, variations on ramen, and variations on little pizzas. Usually, the more complicated a recipe is, the more sucky my version turns out. I tried to make sushi a couple of times...yeah, that didn't work out. I decided to quit because my attempts were an insult to the real sushi chefs that work our restaurants. I'd rather eat good sushi than make bad sushi. XD

I'm an absolute freak in the kitchen. I'll take whatever is around me that sounds edible at the time, and combine it to make my view of the ultimate munchies.

Currently it's velveta shells and cheese combined with garlic mashed potatoes that have the ultimate munchies title.

No seriously, it's pretty damn good.

As any of you who read FB know, the other night Tanelorn and I had Korean barbecue/DiGiorno's food bonanza. We'll probably find something to cook tomorrow after I get paid, because both of us love to cook (he's the only one who's any good at it, though.)

I made the Family Special Pasta Recipe (the dish it most closely resembles is a Siciliana-style pasta) not too long ago.

I also helped out with 3 separate recipes of chicken soup (made from scratch). My mom accidentally dumped a bit too much Jack Daniel's in the second chicken soup recipe, though. . .

My mom cooked up. . .Pork and Beans with some onions and saltier-than-a-sore-loser ham. Somehow, it tasted pretty good.

Next on my baking list: A particular kickass chicken recipe from my dad.
