I can't cook, I just figure out ways to combine easily made foods. Is Microwave Chef a legit term?

I have found that ramen goes ridiculously well heated-up imitation crab meat, and House of Tsang brand Szechuan spicy stir fry sauce.

Hrmmm...

*Runs to the kitchen.*

A week ago I had some leftover curry boullion, mixed it in with my scrambled eggs. With some toast, mmmmmmm......one hell of a "5-minutes-to-run-the-hell-out-my-door-and-down-3-blocks-to-my-job" breakfast.

Funny thing is, while I can cook for myself (to an extent), there's not much in my kitchen for me to make. During a last-minute cheap grocery shopping spree before Anime Expo, I picked up about 8 Creamy Chicken flavor instant ramen (Creamy Chicken ramen + Curry Powder/Boullion = sex), figuring they were 4 for a dollar. Apparently my 9 expo roomates either did the same or completely overcompensated, fearing the worst that no one would bring food for themselves. But because of us going out to eat + someone bringing a personal deep fryer (more on that in a bit), We ended up with a GIANT stockpile of instant ramens, udons, even a few boxes of instant yakisoba. No one wanted any of it (except for this one kid, but he was a whore. He only had like 2 left over), so being the opportunist that I was, I threw them all in my giant storage trash bag (again, more on that in a bit) and now, even a month later, I have enough instant ramen to last me maybe 2 paycheck-less months.

About the deep fryer: No one brought batter. I ran down to a liquor store on Katella and Orangethorpe, bought a bag of all pourpose flour, a box of cornbread mix, eggs and even milk. Came out all to about $7. I came back and the next afternoon we had cornbread batter for mini corn dogs and Dodger Dog corn dogs. Best $7 I ever spent.

About the trash bag: Tokyopop was being a whore about their well-known giant swag bags, only giving them with BIG purchases (as opposed to FREE last year), so I had a lot of stuff I needed to store. Saw one of the Anaheim Convention Center custodians, asked him for a trash bag, Voila! Swag bag for the ENTIRE EXPO.

Uhh....before I go any further off-topic, I'm a barbeque nut. Worsteschire Sauce really is a burger booster, people!

Let's see...this week I've made

Brownies
chocolate almond pancakes

mushroom/mozzarella/egg white omelette
egg drop soup
tofu ginger stir-fry
avocado sushi
tofu parmesan
tomato/onion pizza

All that's really memorable, at least.
And my mom is having me make chocolate chip cookies and a batch of guacamole for this weekend.

With my job I don't have time to make my own meals.
It's instant stuff for me...

But I have made a dual layer custard filled cake before. Mmmm.... that went fast!

Did you make the custard yourself? If so, how?

*Refers to post above*
Ya... I did survive that! The pancakes+cocoa powder combination flipped out though.... The pancakes looked like shit lolz..... But the pancakes+maple syrup combination rocks! I can eat pancakes without placing maple syrup on them directly and yet still taste maple syrup....

Maybe I should mix coffee/tea, maple syrup, butter and the pancake batter to make Breakfast Pancakes! Those pancakes will solve your breakfast woes! You would not need to worry about the coffee cups or whatsoever anymore! Just eat them and all aspects of breakfast will be covered! Be it the coffee, the pancakes and the syrup.....

And yes, you will most probably get a case of diahorrea too! >_>.... Whatever....

My dad and I are making homemade pâte a choux and there is classical music playing in the background.

Fucking classy.

It turns out that these are turning into cream puffs. They are currently being filled with crème saint-honoré and oh my god it is delicious.
