Hmm. Weird how yesterday I was discussing DDR Forever and DMAX with one of TGA's employees.

Well, I'll share my history with DMAX.

The first time I went to TGA, was when DDR Forever was still their. I AA'ed Dragonfly Long Version, then I see Extra Stage DMAX. I shit myself. So I played it and got to 240BPM. Then I saw Paul (not RSP) do it on doubles. Hard shit.

Then, a little while ago. A person named Tytiger made a simfile pack and he made a DMAX simfile, without the MP3. As seen here: ITGFreak.com :: View topic - TyTiger's Simfiles (M.A.G.I.C SPEED BALL!)

So then I, of all people, made a thread shortly after asking for the MP3. Two people uploaded it. One person put in the whole official simfile that Ashura and Wolfman (don't know if it was him) apparently made.

About a week later I go to TGA. I see the DDR Forever machine is gone. I ask one of TGA's people why. That person told me Konami told them "don't use it anymore" and he was telling me how pissed he is at people having DMAX because it's illegal. This was when I found out it was illegal.

Feeling a little bad, when I came back home, I asked Cynic, an ITGFreak moderator, to delete the thread. When that happened, I told Ashura and he thanked me. Then I asked him if I could keep the simfile and he said sure. So I've been R21'ing this simfile and trying to **** it on SM.

Also, before ever talking to Ashura, or ever knwoing this simfile was serious business, I gave the simfile to my friend Nick, but that's it. When I told him it was illegal, he made sure he didn't tell anyone he had it too. Me and him and RSP were probably the only people that had this simfile in New England. Though I am sure other people had it.

I'm sorry to hear about this Ashura. You could try for IIDX 15, make a whole new IIDX simfile and just never share it.
