Default Notification by PM when user's thread is locked

Some people might wonder where their threads went and then repost. This would result in the user getting slapped with an infraction.

I know that most locked threads linger for a while before being moved to the Graveyard, but I think this still should get implemented. In this case, people who wait a week or so before checking back for an answer can get notified that whatever bad/redundant thread was started was locked.

Also, a user wouldn't need to start another thread asking ZOMG Y WUZ MAI THRED LOKKED???!!!oneoneone

DDR:UK has a "You have had a post deleted from the forums" PMing feature like this. It's kind of useful sometimes.

An example of this could be like this:

Dear ______,

You have had one of your threads deleted/locked/merged with another user's.

Reason: Redundant/Ugly/Illegal/Inane/Inappropriate/Whatever

Cause to change your posting habits: Yes/No/Maybe

Thank you,

Does anyone with actual, tangible influence think that my idea has any merit?
