 [ Simfile Database ] Search by Description
It would be nice to search simfiles by description. Sometimes authors expand on their simfile; whether it's from a certain game, or a certain version of a song or something that they can't fit in the Name/Artist box. Maybe one does not know the name of a song, but they know it's from a certain game or television show. Or maybe they want to search songs that contain mines or freeze arrows in it. Or if they want to find a simfile with a lyrics file in it. Searching by description helps them pinpoint a desired song even easier. I know most authors do put a useful description in their simfiles. It's probably more easier to implement than adding a Tags section, so it's not like an author would have to go back and edit each of their simfiles.
I guess a possible thing that can go wrong is people abusing the descriptions. Like you know on Youtube, when morons put "This video does not contain: Britney Spears Candy Bars USB Cords iPhone KFC Lime Jello Neopets Emo Kids Lonelygirl15" in order for their video to appear in almost any search that people make. There should be a way to prevent that, but anyways I'd like to hear people's input on this idea. |
