 Simfile DB: Automatically grab SM/DWI out of zip file
It would be really nice if the option was given to automatically pull the stepchart file out of the zip archive when you upload a simfile. It's really not too hard to do within PHP - there's built-in functions to handle zip archives. This would help a lot with the problem of people uploading zips but no SM/DWI - people want to be able to see charts without downloading the song, so if you make it easier for that to happen, everyone will be a bit happier. Of course, this should probably be an option on the upload page that can be unchecked if the uploader for whatever reason doesn't want the SM/DWI to be automatically pulled. |
