Taiko SubForum?

I just noticed that Guitar Hero got it's own subforum, and I'm wondering "If Guitar Hero is worthy enough, I'm sure something like Taiko no Tatsujin, that has 9 arcade versions, over 10 console versions (counting the anime, US version and 2 PSP versions) should have its own subbforum also!" I'm probably sure that sheer size of releases isn't enough to warrant this to happen, but I guess Taiko no Tatsujin sorta explains itself as being a series worth it's own discussion board.

Though I'm not the biggest fan of the series from what I've played it's really cool, and I think if Guitar Hero deserves it's very own forum(not even a sub-forum) then why not giving Taiko no Tatsujin a sub-forum at least, if not its totally own seperate forum.

So I'm here to stick up for it, I think it would be a great idea.

Well by subforum I mean like what the GH forum is.

If it becomes it's own forum, I can provide alot of information to help people out, including:
* Full songlists of each version, or atleast most of them
* Updates on when new songs appear for Taiko Portable 2 download service
* Possible menu translations to help new players

I'll probably need help to find something like when certain songs unlock and such and when Oni mode unlocks for each game. Also help with translating the character names so people know exactly who everyone is in the game (personally all I know is Don and Katsu).

It's sorted alphabetically, it tells what songs are in what versions, including Arcade and PS2.

Is it popular enough for these boards though? I had a feeling the only reason GH got its own little section was because everyone was tired of seeing multiple GH threads in "other gaming" by a bunch of new users.

Well there is a large Taiko thread in Other Gaming as well (and a ton of DJMAX threads but I think thats because of that guy's site that went down, according to the threads). Taiko is a big series that you can't really sum up in one thread. However, other than Taiko, GH, and the rhythm games that already have a forum, I can't think of any other rhythm games that should deserve their own forum that take popularity and replayability into account.

It deserves its own, definityl. It is a long running game now, and therev for dserves the right to its own forum. Not only that but its popular and widely played.

I can't find that torrent of the old taiko complete collection that was mentioned in previous posts. I'm looking for taiko tobbikiri anime special specifically, if anyone has it ill trade taiko 7 torrent for it? I tried taiko 7 out and works perfectly.

Even better yet, ill directly seed the file or upload it onto rapidshare + ill donate 50 tokens to the person also.

This thread isn't about where to find torrents, its about trying to get a well-played japanese arcade rhythm game to get it's own forum next to other well-played japanese arcade rhythm games (and some game called Guitar Hero). Just use Google though.

I think it's not made yet because there aren't enough threads about it right now to give it some life. For the GH forum, there were a dozen GH threads in Other Music Games but there is only one big Taiko thread. Though I said I could start a bunch, still not sure if it would be made.
