Default BlueShark metal arcade home dance pad.

So yeah I was wondering if anyone has had this pad for atleast a year and can tell me if its worth my while. The reason why I posted this here is because,We ITG players play songs that can be more harder on the pad.Sooo can anyone tell me.

I don't think many people have known about it for a year. It looks rather excellent and most people i've heard that have them love them. I noticed in a lot of videos the bar moves a lot, but I've never had the chance to play on one.

Personally, I say either get this or Cobalt Flux with Arcade Mod as those are the best platforms currently.

Blueshark is a good "decent" pad from what I've heard. Most pads of that quality/cost will last a good amount of time, especially if you take care of them. From personal experience I've learned that Cobalt Fluxes need to be cleaned out almost every other month. I'm not sure about Blueshark, but cleaning them out would definitely help. If you are strictly looking for Blueshark info... take care of it and it will take care of you. If you are looking for general pad info, what is your price range? The TX6000 is hands down perfect... if you can afford it.

When the blue shark is working right, its the best pad for the price easily. I really dont like fluxs at all, arcade moded or not. They just dont feel good at all.

You dont really need to clean them out as much as fluxs, because of the arcade sensors. Fluxs needed cleaning because its a metal plate contacting another metal plate.

The only problem I think sharks have is the arcade sensors. The one ddr club where i live got a shark, and 2 of the sensors went bad. That may have been fixed by now, as it was a while ago we got it.

Are you kidding?! THe Blueshark is MUCH better. I mean just look at the sensors. Would u rather have real arcade sensors or foil sensors??? That's what I thought

If you can show me a picture of the sensors I will almost agree with you. But... you picked the wrong feature to argue, considering the TX sensors are more than twice as large as normal sensors, and are more sensitive. Quit being a blueshark buttboy and research the pad.

Why does the fact that the sensor is larger matter when it's more likely to come unsoldered or become covered with grime and stop working? Two arcade sensors is better than one foil sensor without a doubt if the mat is built right. If you want pics, it shouldn't be that hard to find. That's the older BlueShark, but the sensor design is the same, though the newer Shark has much more recessed arrows, very thick panels and foam around the sensors.

And obviously, you've seen the sensor for the TX, then. If not I could scrounge up pics of my pad from when I first got it, though it's not the same, the sensors are pretty much the same.
