So yeah, this question sparked from the comments of this newspost.

Do you abuse the R21 Patch?

Now, to specify, the abuse I'm referring to is playing long songs (over 3:00) without compensating, playing songs with some rather colorful language, that kind of thing.

Myself? I don't really play either of those. I've played one song that could be classified as "colorful" in my entire time of playing the game, and I haven't played a LV song yet. Should I ever have the urge to play a LV song, I will compensate by playing a song not more than 15 seconds directly after.

most of the songs i play r21 are iidx stepfiles some of them being like 10 secs over the 2:00 mark. if i were to play a 3:00 min+ song i would play it last.

does Tornado by msi count as colorful

i don't abuse it but if i have a song over 120 seconds , i would use it (but not abuse it)

A lot of songs I play are just over the 2 minute limit (whether it be by a few seconds or a couple of minutes), hence presenting the need to use the patch fairly regularly.
but for the rare marathon version songs I play, I generally ask anybody watching if they're waiting to play. As a general rule, they're not, so no real problem is presented imo

same here, other than about 1.5 hours from my house, of course that's a short road trip to play a game. it doesen't help that the only 24 hour arcade close to me has an ITG 2 dedicab with screwed up USBs. the damn thing takes almost 5 minutes to start a card check, then another 3 to 5 to actually tell you if it worked or not.
