if you're not good at both you won't win any tournaments

from a strategic standpoint, there are several more 9s and 10s than everything else combined (even including expansion packs like rebirth and ITG3) so if you HAD to choose between very consistent FA ability or passing 14s, FA ability is likely going to help you more in tournaments

Stamina is more important because it will make your heart stronger.

Realistically though FA will win you more tournaments.

Yea I been playing more stamina-diven songs like Dragonforce and I could feel myself in much better shape than before.

Then again my FA isn't that good so my score isn't impressing.

again, best idea is to get good at both

it is kind of pointless if you can BS your way through a dragonforce song with a 68% and only get like, 96% on birdie

you should probably focus on FA because you will start gaining stamina while while playing 9's and 10's.

Stamina is great to have, but not always important. Sure you will be able to pass Dragonforce songs, but you will probably loose in a tournament with only ITG songs.

To sum it up FA is more important.

The way I see it, it's all about balance. Work on making your stamina stronger but without loosing your FA. I've seen a number of too many people that have amazing stamina but have no FA; this goes true for the opposite as well. So basically work on raising your stamina by trying some long versions, but don't loose your FA in the process. Another great thing that helps with stamina is don't just stick with just ITG/DDR, so let me be subtle and frank. Do something else that is not affiliated with DDR/ITG that has a workout routine etc. etc. For example, I swim. I started eh...about 4 months ago, and let me tell you it sure shot my stamina up the wall. Run, play a sport, this helps with stamina greatly so then all you have to worry about really is FA, but that's how I do things.

Usually for the days I don't play, I run 3-5 miles at the park. When I do play, first I eat a big meal , then warm up until i'm good enough to stream comfortably. Actually since I made this thread, my FA has increased considerably.

About feet - my feet are big, about size 12 Men's size. Can this be a problem if you are about 250 lbs?

That's not what I consider big, but it depends on your height. I'm 6'7" and wear 16s. It doesn't seem to be a problem for me, but then again, I'll never know what it's like to play as someone else, and I never will. So asking if your feet are too big is a mute-point, isn't it?
