Default Generic USB Hub on an ITG2 Dedicab, USB hub in the front side is broken.

I found a generic USB connector with a powered-up USB hub in Kidstar Park in Florida. This may explain why the USB on the front of the Boxor is broken. Speaking of the not working hub in the front, every worker knows about it, but they can't fix the problem. When I put the USB drive in, it does blink the light on the flash drive and shuts off, so I think the hub is broken or something.

Oh yeah, the generic hub I mentioned first was connected to the back of the ITG2 Dedicab.

Any USB hub will work. The more the price, the more the quality.

hm... Its a dedicab right? It should be in The front of the machine. If there are problems with these hubs, move the USB hub, so the other 2 unused ones will be used instead of the two broken ones. That how sean fixes the USB hub at BZN, and it works every time now. If its connected in the back... Try a new USB hub. Try a more expensive one if possible, as they always work better (like my Ω bran, it did does not work well on vista, and for a low price, that what I get...).

That was the case about this - I did say that there was a working USB hub in the back of the dedicab, with a generic USB plug to plug the hub in. I haven't been in the arcades since I was finished with school (due to the times and the fact that they don't open on Monday or Tuesdays, and other weekdays they are open at 5 PM!).

I found a solution to the problem. I was messing with the USB one day to see if I could get it too read correctly. All I did was unscrew the housing, and open the actual hub. Then I put a piece of folded up tickets inside on top of the ports and closed it. What this does is clamp the USB port down to the connector so you get a good connection. Now our machine runs good as new after 2 years of constant play =] All thanks to me and a co-worker who love itg.

now, I am not going to go and trust you because, that sounds like it could start a fire. That and your name is kittenNipples, and you have one post.

Well, what KittenNipples said makes sense, since the USB hub becomes loose with time.

The dedicab that's in the city has that problem... with many USB drives one has to hold it in the up direction (for example, with the own drive's cap), otherwise it isn't read correctly

However, I wouldn't do it with something that would catch fire either.
