I think I read that some songs from ITG3 are going to be released on it like Stop and Go and Disconnected Zeo but I could be wrong.
Discuss.

The screen wills spin and battle music will start to play. You and drunk friends will be forced to stand in a line rocking back and forth holding over sized swords. A group of retarded looking monsters will appear and you will take turns hitting each other. When it is all over you will get 648 Gil and a fire ring. Why the 12 foot tall monster with no hands had a fire ring that fits everyone from you to your grandma will still be mystery to man.

I also wouldn't be surprised if STOP! and Go and Disconnected Zeo made appearances. Good stuff.
I would think it would be based off the same SM engine ITG PC is running on, so no beta testing will be necessary, and if not none, few minimal bugs this time (unlike ITG PS2... TOPGRADE sort bug).

* Naoki will contribute a track to this game as a sign that he's not concerned about the Konami/Roxor lawsuit, and just wants people to have fun.
* We'll learn ZigZag's identity. Why, I have no clue, but apparently there's power in threes.
* The preview tracks: Vertex/3 and Disconnected Zeo.
* A deal is in the works with an unknown record label to start making ITG soundtracks, which will be based off the console releases.
I suppose there's wackier out there, but this seemed like the best of it. Enjoy.

edit: "Vretex"? Whoops.

And as for the FOR SURE CONFIRMED SONGS.. I like most of them. Stop! and Go and Disconnected Zeo are tight. I hope they put them on the ITG2 home version.

Saying it sounds like the audio equivalent of a stillborn child whose mother is being kicked in the womb by a robotic kicking machine (ie, a tragedy), now that's another story.
Not that I'm saying either is true. (I will say Vertex > Vertex^2, in terms of being actual music, though...)
But back to wild speculation. I predict all kinds of new mods. I eagerly await the rumored "inverse" noteskin, ie, the cheapest new noteskin in the history of dance games.

I think the same of Facination MaxX, too.
Good thing everything else sounds pretty damn good here.

But given that we know all of nothing about this title aside from "it is in the works", I figure there's a 0.001% chance my speculation might inspire Roxor.
I suppose I could make an inverse noteskin, if you'd like.

Oh, and yeah, it's for PS2.

I attended Digital Life '05 and Roxor had a tv set up with 2 Red Octane After Burners and ITG2 and Stop and Go was on there. Kyle Ward was there although wouldnt tell me anything. I talked to him after at a local arcade I go to where he made a appearance and still wouldnt say anything. Although I asked him if he was JS16 and he smiled at me and said I dont know. lol. That has nothing to do with ITG2 console discussion.

Total Tokens: 8,306.58 Donate Tokens | I predict the sneak preview songs to be all ITG 3 songs on ITG for the PC since they're all originals that have already been announced and will prevent PS2 owners to envy PC players. Because of this, I was a bit skeptical about STOP! and Go appearing, but considering it appeared on the ITG 2 at Digital Life '05 and that Funk Factory appeared on ITG 1 CS (Money Deluxe and Onyx are both non-Roxor artists, right?), I'm almost certain it'll show up.
BTW, speaking of Funk Factory, do you people think it, along with Tribal Style, Incognito, Liquid Moon, and Wake Up, will actually appear on ITG 2 CS? They'd all be repeats, but then again, they didn't show up on ITG 1 AC (well, Liquid Moon technically did, but only on special stages), so I'm rather uncertain about their fate. Of all of them, I'd see Tribal Style being the most likely just because it's also getting redesigned Hard steps, but that's not really saying much.
And speaking of repeats, will Mellow, Bubble Dance, and Land of the Rising Sun have any chance of showing up, either? They've all got confirmed Singles Expert stepcharts, and personally, I'd find it a shame not to be able to play such decent songs with steps that pose enough of a challenge to be fun.
