Their updating the whole game. Making a lot of stuff new again. It'll take a while.

The screen wills spin and battle music will start to play. You and drunk friends will be forced to stand in a line rocking back and forth holding over sized swords. A group of retarded looking monsters will appear and you will take turns hitting each other. When it is all over you will get 648 Gil and a fire ring. i just wish ITG2 would hurry up and come out because it has some really good songs and my copy of ITG is busted and the nearest arcade with ITG2 is 200 miles away

Me too. I was hoping it'd come out sometime around a year from ITG1 PS2, but it didn't. I'm hopinh it'll come out soon.

DDR doesn't have exorbitant loading times on PS2; if Roxor and/or Red Octane had programmed the game more efficiently somehow the loading times could have been minimized. (I don't know if it's possible for an SM-based engine, though... ) just saying it isn't the PS2 that had made the loading times long on ITG1 PS2.

ITG PS2 didn't have unbearably long loading times that would cause R0x0r to move ITG from the PS2 to Xbox.

As far as the loading times, it's not really so much roxors/red octanes fault that they are so long. The original coding was done for a much higher spec machine than the ps2, where as ddr essentially runs on a ps2. Because of this the only way to really make the game load faster would be to completely re-work it to optimize it completely for the PS2, but that would take a lot of work for a port.

We're hoping they know what they are doing if they are optimizing it for PS2. We'll see what the team will do next.
