Why the 12 foot tall monster with no hands had a fire ring that fits everyone from you to your grandma will still be mystery to man.

And just when I thought we could sink no lower.

I really hope that the theme is changed to ITG2's arcade style because the beta's is an eye-sore IMO.

I just don't like the yellow and the animations. But that's just me. From what I've heard, most people seem to think it's a nice theme.

Just for your info, this is way off subject but its for further reference. You dont have to type "-itgfreak925" after everything you write. You could put "-itgfreak925" in your signature and avoid the hassle.

My bets are, they're working on a new engine that uses the same files but is far more PS2-optimized, which is why it's taking so long. That way, once they have the base engine for the game on PS2, they can split and update both separately. It's not a terribly efficient way, but if it prevents loading times like what the original In The Groove PS2 had, I'm for it.

I never noticed loading being a problem in the other game. But then again I'm not that impatient. However even I have my limits. Don't want to wait till 2009 to get this game. Why they have to keep the wait a secret I'll never know.

Have you at least compared them to any other games you've played. When ITG came out on PS2, there were threads all over the place discussing it. I don't think there will be a new engine involved, just....the same.
