It'll support USB cards, but there's probably going to be some way to distinguish between scores so that you can't upload home scores for the arcade. The theme is also different, so you can't upload screenshots from the home version and say they're from the arcade.

Holy shit. I seriously hope that global BG Animation is used for ITG3. That is the sexiest thing I have ever seen, bar none, ever, period.

EDIT:

I'm almost positive that's going to be a multitap for each controller port (it mentions up to 8 players in the video) and it's going to play exactly the same way those multiplayer ITG systems work: one arrow pattern in the centre, everyone has their own judgement boxes around the arrow scroll on each side and everyone has scores in the bottom, listed from highest to lowest. At least, that's my guess.

How are you so sure of this? I thought I heard they couldn't do that with a ps2, because the hardware isn't compatible somehow or something? I'm probably wrong, I just want to know how you are so sure.

He's been threatened with a lawsuit for putting ITG2 PS2 simfiles on his website. He knows this stuff.

I remembered that video it was on youtube, yeah that is pretty cool, but it kinda reminds of the ddr sn bg videos for some reason.

Sounds like BS to me.

Latency is a big issue for online play, especially for PS2.
