In The Groove 2 USB Help?

Hey everyone!

I just recently bought a usb stick specificly for playing custom songs on the In The Groove Machine at the movie Theater.

I was just wondering how exactly do I get all of those in the groove files onto my usb?? I know how to put custom songs onto it because ive seen the tutorials for that. However, I still have no idea where everyone is getting this whole In the Groove "package" on their usb stick?

If I was to just have a file titled songs, then in that file all of my simfiles, would it still work? Or do I need all of that fancy In the Groove file stuff?

Sorry for asking, but Im really confused and I need help

You need to play In the Groove 2 with the USB Stick inserted at least once before you do the r21 track stuff. This will generate the files in the flash drive. Create the Songs folder in the ITG2 folder, and put the song folder and files in there.

Ive done this before with my USB plugged in, perhaps turning on that custom song thing in the options would finally activate it?

But Ill give it another shot at the theater thanks CB

Having that option on or off won't matter. As long as the machine recognizes the USB and it lets you Save Screens, and tells you not to forget the USB drive at the end of the game, you'll have the needed file structure saved to the drive.

You don't need the game to create the folder(s), you can do it manually.

e: (or whatever is your USB drive letter)\In The Groove 2\Songs\

You don't need to create separate folders for each "mix".
