my internet has a speed of maximum 600 kb/s and this seems to take more than 24 h with a browser. so probably you'll need to use download accelerator or something similiar

i'm just saying this since i thought ITG Rebirth was dead.

Yes it started about 2 years ago (a little less but rounded).

I wasn't directing that to you or trying to flame you, I was just wondering if there were actually people out there honestly anticipating this after its died and been revived a bunch of times.

Are you using IE?
Because I'm using Firefox 3 and it's going at my max speed (26 kb/s... Ausfailia)

well 10 kb/s in the first seconds, now it goes between 60 and 30 kb/s
my max speed is 600 kb/s.
itg rebirth started 2 years ago?! well i'm still new to stepmania (been playing since a year and like 3 months right now) and found out of ITG much much later. of ITG Rebirth i found out in...february i think

I hate to sound like a total moron but, 3.9 or 3.95, it doesn't exactly say which one, and I don't want to download OpenITG just for this and have more stepmanias installed.

for anything itg related, assume 3.95 unless otherwise specified

also openitg and 3.95 are 99% the same so it doesn't make that much of a difference unless you're actually using it on an arcade machine

its pretty good. Half the songs dont feel like ITG however... and thats just the problem. I played the beta, and I played the final game now. Its still good to check out though. It has one of my favorite songs to play in the called "over the rave". One other thing I am complaining about is thew background effects are too repetitive.

We kept a lot of the original ITG artists, and elements, but like ITG was *going* to do with ITG3, and like it did in its first two games, we also made a lot of more progressive/experimental charts, which is why they may not "feel like ITG".

Also, some BG effects are more "specialized" than others, and our artist in that area spent a good amount of time on them. Check out songs like Epileptic Crisis for a good example, or songs like the Ace of Base and Basshunter song that have their own background videos.

Wow, after playing this, I am really impressed. It appears that a lot of work was put into this, and the double charts are finally good. I'll be enjoying this for a while.

i am complaining about 24th/32nds note bursts in a lot of expert 11s, and 12s aren't so... 12 worthy but they're good overall
the dead souls expert chart is pretty good too
as for the 14 song... it's interesting
