my arcade place just got ITG3 2 days ago and of course my usb key made for itg2 wasn't working so when I got back home, I changed the "F:/In the Groove 2" to "In the Groove 3" but my songs still won't load but I can save my scores on it.
first, can you use custom songs on itg3 and if yes, how do you setup the key to be able to?

Yes, that is exactly what it means. There's an In The Groove "3" in an arcade at Myrtle Beach, SC. If you didn't know better you'd think it was an actual ITG3, but it's not. The people that modified the machine were just that good.
The ITG3 is likely an ITG3 skin with the new songs transplanted on. It never had an official release because Roxor was sued before they could finish the 3rd installment.
Because the "ITG3" is a skin your USB dongle should work on it without having to rename it.
There's an ITG3 ? WTF hax!!! Even if there was it really wouldn't matter anyway. ITG2 is great enough considering you can upload your own songs into it.
thanks for bumping a 2 month old thread. There was no reason for that, everyone knows its just a custom theme, and fan made stepcharts to what was revealed to be the ITG3 songlist.
