How big is ITG2. Someone said he would ghost his drive for a machine here if I gave him the hard drive so we can update our machine with the R21 to play custom songs. Its R1 so it can't be updated and this is the only way to update it.

I've got a 20GB HDD and I want to know if ITG2 will fit on it so we can update our machine here.

that should fit unless the arcade has like 10 more GB of stuff than ITG2PC (I even calculated it at 42 MB per song to include each bg video)

I think that with a 20 GB drive you have way more than enough.
I have ITGPC+ITG2PC running on a 6 GB HDD.

Buuuut, now that I think about it... you have to back up the entire system, Linux included.
Aaaand, there's another thing: I heard that ITG2's hard drive commits suicide if you connect it to a PC

hax the cabinet, there is a lot of free space. inside ITG there's just a pc equiped with linux operative system.

It won't work. Each individual hard drive is bound to a dongle, and unless you've magically figured out how to decrypt the hard drive and re-bind it to a different dongle, then you're not going to have a working ITG cabinet.

I'd personally suggest against this.
